There are a lot of decorations that represent Christmas. There’s a mistletoe, a Christmas wreath, and a Holly. A holly is often referred to by the name Christ’s thorn. It usually used in wreaths or even Christmas cards. It carried Christian symbolism, that Holly represents Jesus. If you want to draw a Holly, you can follow my instructions. Prepare a paper, a pencil, and an eraser. Now we’re ready to draw!

Steps:

Step 1: First of all, we’ll start by drawing the guidelines. The purpose of guidelines is to help you estimate the size and to guide you in drawing the rest. Therefore, we’re start by making the frame guideline. Create two angles on the top left and lower right. This will help to guide us in making the whole Holly.

Step 2: Moving on to the next step, we’ll make the berries. But before that, slightly erase the previous guideline so you can still see the guideline. Then you can start making three uneven circles each side you made earlier.

Step 3: After the previous step, we’ll continue drawing the leaves on each edge. This will be the guideline for the Holly leaves.

Step 6: Then, we can continue making the zig-zag lines around the leaves. Don’t forget to slightly erase the leaf lines. Just like the previous steps, we’ll still need the leaf lines guideline so it won’t go far from the guideline.
