How to draw a New Year Greetings

During the end of the year, there are many things you can do before and after the year passes by. Whether counting the time until the years end, eat with each other or to celebrate new year by greeting each other. Also, people can share New Year greeting clipart images on their social media. Therefore, if you want to create your own new year greetings, you can follow my instructions. Prepare a paper, a pencil, and an eraser. Now we’re ready to draw!

Steps:

Step 1: First of all, we’ll start by drawing the guidelines. The purpose of guidelines is to help you estimate the size of your drawing. Therefore, we need to start by writing down “Happy New Year 2020” on the center of paper.

Step 2: Moving on to the next step. Slightly erase the previous guideline so you can create the outer line based on the previous step. You just need to follow the shape of each words.

Step 3: Next, we’ll continue drawing a square to create another element for the greetings outside the words.

Step 4: Moving on, we’ll be drawing several shapes to create balloons and gifts. Start by creating rectangles and ovals that intersect the square line (see picture to better understand).

Step 5: Now you can start adding details on the previous rectangles by creating four line intersecting each other that resemble cross. After that, add triangles below the ovals to finish the balloons. Then, add another elements to resemble confetti such as long rectangle and “o” shape (see picture).

Step 6: We can start drawing more shapes for confetti like stars and curvy lines around the square line (see picture to better understand). Then, draw ribbons on top of the gifts to finish drawing it. Start by making curved lines that resemble love shape and add another narrow curve line inside of it. Lastly add small ovals in between the previous step (see picture to better understand).

Step 7: Now we can finish it by erasing the guidelines and Voila! A New year greeting is done!

When drawing new year greetings, the most important part is how you want to draw it. Creativity is important in this one. What you want to make and things that relates to it. This is important because you need to look for the features that relates with New year. Therefore, it’s important to start drawing the guideline first. You’ll need lots of practice so you can make your drawing perfect. Good luck!
