How to draw a Dog?

One of the main and favorite pets is a dog. Due to their dedication and sincerity, dogs are liked by almost all of us and are often considered a full-fledged member of the family. With this step-by-step tutorial you will learn how to draw a dog with a pencil, quickly and easily.

Tools and materials:

1. White paper sheet;
2. Hard simple pencil;
3. Soft simple pencil;
4. An eraser.

Steps of the worksheet:

Step 1. With a hard simple pencil we draw a circle. It will serve as the basis for the dog's head:

Step 2. The head will be turned to the right. With simple lines, we mark the muzzle, and on the sides the ears of the animal:

Step 3. Begin to prescribe the muzzle. The dog's fur will be wavy, so the ears will be marked with curved lines:

Step 4. Remove with an eraser the previously planned lines. We will not need them any more. Draw the nose and mouth of the dog. Add the eyes. Due to the fact that the muzzle is turned, the right eye will be located slightly higher and lower than the left:

Step 5. With wavy lines we draw the wool on the edges of the ears. The left ear is closer to the viewer than the right one, so you can highlight it with darker and denser lines. In more details we draw the eyes:

Step 6. We begin to shade. First of all, we set the tone for the eyes and nose. They will be the darkest in the picture. Do not forget to leave a highlight:

Step 7. Gradually begin to stroke the ear. It is important not to rush, that the lines were equal and not too dark. We put the strokes over the shape and the direction of wool. On bends, we made the wool slightly darker:

Step 8. Continue stroking. We pass to the muzzle, but we try to uniformly stroke the entire pattern and do not stagnate on one plot:

Step 9. We make wool a little uncombed and negligent. Detail the animal more and more:

Step 10. Under the neck make a shadow. The light falls from above on the right, so the darker part will be concentrated on the left side:

Step 11. With a soft simple pencil add a contrast to the picture. With an eraser we draw a mustache, and on the other hand, with a neatly thin line, we add clarity to them. Finalize all the elements. The picture is ready:
