How to Draw a Christmas Lights

One of a must-have important item in your house if you celebrate Christmas is Christmas lights. It is often known as fairy lights. It is used for decoration in celebration of Christmas and used around Christmas tree. Christmas tree displayed publicly with electric lights and it became popular in the early 20th century. If you want to draw Christmas Lights, you can follow my instructions. Prepare a paper, a pencil, and an eraser. Now we’re ready to draw!

Steps:

Step 1: First of all, we’ll start by drawing the guidelines. The purpose of guidelines is to help you estimate the size and to guide you in drawing the rest. Therefore, we’re going to draw from top to bottom. Therefore, we need to start drawing a big triangle. This will be the guideline for the Christmas Lights that resemble Christmas tree.

Step 2: Moving on to the next step, we’ll make the line for the light cable. Create a curvy line around the guideline as if making a line around Christmas tree clipart (see picture to better understand).

Step 3: After the previous step, we’ll continue drawing the detail of the lights starting by making small circles around the line. Draw from end to end.

Step 4: After that, we can start drawing narrow Christmas bulbs on top of the previous steps. Add a tear-like shape to make the Christmas bulbs. Make a space in between the lights because we’re going to create different shapes of light bulbs.

Step 5: Now we can continue with the previous part, by adding lights with star shapes. Still make a space after the first light bulb to make another different shape.

Step 6: Then, we can continue adding circle light bulbs. Add it on the last space remaining to complete the light bulbs.

Step 7: Lastly, If there’s a line that intersecting each other, this is the time to erase it. To see your Christmas Lights clearly, you’ll need clean lines. Voila! You’ve finished drawing a Christmas Lights!
